    Description: Collects national and statewide childhood data about poverty, welfare, health, early childhood development, education, housing, hunger, mental health, violence and many other topics.   • County Health Rankings

    Description: County Health Rankings is an organization that ranks each county in the country by both health outcomes (length and quality of life) and health factors (such as individual health behaviors, clinical care, economic factors and the physical environment). They compile data from a range of national data sources. For more information, visit http://www.countyhealthrankings.org/.

    Example Data: Information and rankings are available on premature death, low birth weight prevalence, access to health care, number of children in poverty, air pollution, and access to healthy foods.

  • Data Resource Center for Child & Adolescent Health

  • Kaiser Family Foundation- statehealthfacts.org

    Description: Provides health data for all 50 states on more than 700 health topics. The health topics include births, prenatal care, infants, children, immunizations, deaths, life expectancy, diseases, cancer, smoking, obesity, nutrition, and much more.   • Nevada Division of Children and Family Services - Early Childhood Mental Health Services

    Description: Early Childhood Mental Health Services provides services to children between birth and six years of age with emotional disturbance or high risk factors for emotional and behavioral disturbance and associated developmental delays.  The goal of services is to strengthen parent-child relationships, support the family’s capacity to care for their children and to enhance the child’s social and emotional functioning.
